Wednesday morning

Well, Katie is finally home. It happened yesterday in the afternoon. Now, she has a lot of follow up Dr visits, and ongoing therapy, but she is home and sleeping in her own bed. We had a great time last night with all the family around. And for those of you praying for Sawyer and mommy to bond, you should have seen the two of them together. I got a couple of pictures that I will try to post in the coming days. Pretty cool.

Today Katie and I are going to Tayler's school to have lunch with her and meet Tays teacher. It will be the first time Katie has been to the school as it just opened this year.

We continue to trust God for complete healing and continue to pray toward that end.

Welcome home, Katie! I've been following your amazing recovery! We do not know each other, but my friend passed your story onto me for prayers. You remain in our prayers and hope, someday, we can meet. God's continued blessings to you and your family in the months and years to come! You have a beautiful family.

We are rejoicing with you all. If anyone questions the power and presence of Almighty God, they need only hear your eye witness testimony. God is faithful.

Thank you Jesus for the miracle you have perfomed in Katie's body. Thank you for the doctors, nurses, technicians, and all the people behind the scenes that made sure each peice of equipment worked just right to aid her healing. Thank you Jesus for her loving family and friends and for their willingness to reach out for prayer and care from other. Many times we turn inward in a time of crisis.
Dear Lord, please continue to bless this family. And, thank you for allowing me to follow Your progress in Katie's healing. I have been so encouraged and reminded that YOU are so big and mighty. There is nothing that my God can not do. Thank you. ~Amen.

Davey and Katie,
I can't begin to tell you how God has used this trial to encourage me. Well not the trial itself, but the wonder and awe about the God that this trial has produced in me as I watched Him work in and through you. Some may call that the fear of God being produced...that allows us to live our lives with skill. I was/am especially encouraged not to live my life in fear (Afraid, controlling, not submitting). So much so that we are starting a short series in our young adults class on the topic of Fear taught by Lenny Correll. Well I guess I just wanted to encourage you to, as Mrs. Glock always said, “keep on keeping on".

Love,
Robert, Adria, Aidyn, and young Sage.

I hav eto tell you that my sister, who isn't into church and really isn't sure if she is a believer, is now looking for a church. She now knows that there is someone greater up there looking down on all of us. That makes me so happy!! We will continue to pray for all of you. You are truely an amazing family!!!! Kim A, Des Moines
